Scratch Tutorials: lesson #8 "Pacman"
In this tutorial, I had to create a level in which the main sprite (little cry baby) runs around and collects the bonuses and increase the score. The bonuses are programmed to come up randomly. The program was long and the toughest part was making the little baby stay on the stage. This was one basic lesson that taught me the importance of variables in programming.
Lesson #6: Cat and Dog Game
In this lesson, I had to create a game where the two dogs chase after the cat. Using the arrow keys, player's objective is to keep the cat away from the dog. Everytime the dog touched the cat, the time was resetted. The goal of the game is to stay hidden for as long as possible. There are, however, few ways to escape the two dogs (by hiding on to the edge of the screen).
